My friend says “Satish you’ve always taken the difficult road”.

I never believed nor liked to take the easy path in my life. I guess I am a person who doesn’t like to do the routine job of 24X7.

I started my career with a printing press, then after a couple of years had to join my Dad’s business, water management. The work was challenging, I had managed two droughts the twin cities faced. After 8 years I quit.

I joined breeze advertising as general manager, and was also managing their wing Ad-Expressions, which used to design stalls at exhibitions all over the country. This time I was traveling the country. It gave me a chance to explore my creative talents.

Two years … I quit the job.

One day I saw a beautiful place and fell in love with this place. Bought a camera, and started a fashion studio, a gallery and a Boutique.

In three months time I was a fashion photographer, clicking away portfolios. I was also choreographing fashion shows. The place soon became a talk of the town. I was getting in touch with the film industry. I was feeling I am getting close to my dream…

After 5 years I closed the place.

Two days after that my friend G.K offered me to work with him as a freelancer. The next day I was an event manager for Gemini TV. Luckily I knew Mr. Kiran of Gemini TV, so things became very easy.

I have handled all their events for three years. Starting with Indra audio function to the R.P. Patnayak musical Nite at Vizag (Four lakh people attended the show) to Andhrawala audio function at Nimmakoor (Five lakh people attended the show).

Finally I was in amongst the film industry people…

That is when I realized things can’t get any bigger than this on Television so I quit …

I was ready. I wanted to make a movie. My first movie.

    Hi Satish,

Congratualtions on the award for hope. It is a touching subject and the reality in Andhra Pradesh. The peer pressure of the parents is indeed stressing the kids to things beyond their age.

    Dear Satish,

I am currently listening to KVM songs …..not the first or second but 9th time during the past couple of hours…..

Shankarabharanam…. that is what has come to my mind even without listening to charanam of the first song…..

After listening to the song where the teacher corrects student in one of the songs, made me remember Tulasi and J.V.Somayajulu garu from Shankarabharanam….

It is a great feeling listening to KVM music and also reading your lines here…. Telugu cinema needs music backed stories and thanks for tailoring such a script….. My best wishes to you for KVM and I shall write to you after watching the movie….

    Good Luck!!!!!!
